$1000 FABAIC Registration Contest!!

I am so excited!! I have put together a WCFP contest for January, the
value of which is over $1000!

I wanted to help someone go to FABAIC who has never gone before.


If you win you get:



> Free Registration at FABAIC 2011
> Two night stay at the Double Tree in Orlando, home of FABAIC
> Opportunity to be a guest painter at FABAIC
> $150 in coupons to be used at participating vendor booths at FABAIC
> For approximately 30 minutes assist International World Face and Body Champion Yolanda Bartram while she paints at FABAIC

> Only those who have never gone to FABAIC in Orlando before may enter.
> There are two parts to this contest: 1) a photo of your work 2) your 300 word essay about why going to FABAIC is important to you.
> Only photos not previously used in any Face Painting contest may be submitted

Lily, I have a question - is the beneficiary supposed to be really good already?  Or is it to benefit a more novice individual?  I would love to apply, but I am a novice (just started in late June, but I have been working hard!) and I know that if you were looking for talent in the photo submission part, I would not qualify (a raw talent, maybe, but my designs are not very "finished" yet).  I don't mind if this is the case, I just would like to know who you are targeting for this great prize

Barbie, don't be so hard on your self my friend!  Everyone had a beginning, and all of us are still learning.  Practice does not make us perfect, practice just keeps us getting better and better at what we do. I have only been a profession face and body painter for one year. I just had my one year anniversary on July 10th, 2010!  But I always practice at least two hours a day!  But I had painted all my life. I have had a great ride in one year, and my business has boomed above what I ever could believe. I have been doing Ren Faires for the past 9 weekends and have 9 more weekends to go!  You have to build a business and work hard at it.  And it is now paying off for me, I am getting known in my community and all around the world! It is so exciting. So don't be too hard on your self, you will and are great already!
