My husband was just in San Diego (from Ohio) and was at the county fair there where he saw something called Kenji Tattoos. They say they last for days before they wash away. They look awesome, actually. They are stamped on any way you like and then you add glitter or whatever. Instant, bold and almost equally as dramatic as glitter tatts.
The website is in english but the attached video is in another language (Sweedish, perhaps?) Anyhow, of all the nations represented by flags on that website, the US is not one of them.
Anyone seen or heard of this stuff? Comments?

I found this site: www.kenjitattoo.comI hadn't heard of it before either. It looks like a combo of temporary tattoo ink, glitter tattoos, plus jewels.

Well those are pretty cool. I just sent them an email to see if they have any suppliers in the USA. I'd like to try them out.

I got an e-mail reply from that website today. They currently do not have any resellers in the USA. I got a price list and may order a few supplies to try out depending on the payment/shipping options--waiting for more information on this. I like the idea of not having to throw away stencils. You could use the stones many times.
They are in located in the "Netherlands"....doesn't that word sound so magical...reminds me of Neverland....okay I'm just being way too silly now. I need sleep.

You'll have to keep us posted on how these turn out. I've bought stampers at the craft store before and tried to use with face paint and it could be hit or miss depending on the consistency of the face paint. I worried about using this in field, knowing how tempermental face paint can be depending on the heat and humidity. So I'm curious if it's really so clean and simple as it appears in the videos.
