Blueberry Festival

I can't say that I made a killing at the Blueberry Festival I did over the weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll do it again next year.  It rained a lot on the first day and several people said it seems to rain every year at this festival.  Maybe it's their rainy season?  And when it wasn't raining, it was hot... REALLY hot! 

On the second day, all of us vendors, just sat there and sweated.  I was next to some nice people that let me use an extra fan they had.  That was awesome!

They are sooooo cute!  But do you mind if I ask you a personal question?  I am just starting to do fairs and parties.  What do you charge for this?

Depending on how long it takes to do a design, I charge different prices.  I have 3 prices... my quickest designs and cheek art are $5, intermediate are $8 and the deluxe designs are $10.

For parties, I charge $90 for the first hour and $75 for each add'l.

I think pricing will also vary by your skill level and the going rate in your area.
