How do you display choices?
« on: May 29, 2010, 09:38:01 AM »

When I do face painting I have boards with pictures of different faces I can do....I find balloons don't really show up great on pictures. I think drawings of the balloons would show up well, but I'm not very artistically talented at drawing them. Any ideas? How do you guys show them? Right now I just have a list of things I can make, but most of the kids I am ballooning for can't read, so I end up saying it over and over. lol. I need to get a display organized.

I've seen people with really cute displays with pictures of the balloons and the names with it.  I write the names or tell them what I can do.

I do a display board...it's the top one in the pic

I hate having to list off balloons over and over (besides it being tiring, I always forget some!) and I never want anyone to say that they didn't know I could do that one instead...a board/flash cards keeps that from happening Smiley

Thanks Gina! Haha, the set-up has changed SO many times - pretty much gig to gig. That card table was pretty heavy and hard to lug around - I just bought myself a folding aluminum table, which is so much lighter, and has a handle! It's bigger too, so it's a total win Tongue

The display boards/setup itself is virtually the same now.

Right. Wind. Haha. I believe I used a bungee cord to tie the back of the easel to the table leg. The easel itself has a lip on the top (it's adjustable), so when it's down against the board, it holds it in place. (At least, until some random kid pushes it sideways...0_o)
