Chicken gizzard... eeewww. That's about as appetizing to me as a chicken liver!
I did a festival my first year starting out that I thought was an odd name. It was the Washpot Cookout Festival. I thought it was a pretty good one too. I kept busy and they had the parade on the street behind me with a perfect view. It was fun and they had the largest cow I'd ever seen in that parade... sort of unreal looking.

No it's about the size of an oatmeal box. It is plastic, and the lid is on a hing wjen it is closed it latches. I found it at a yard sale for 10 cents! I had a glass jar that I kept in my toolbox but I ws always afraid it would break. I was exciting seeing what was in the jar!

For our local police department family christmas party. I did their christmas party last year and they booked me before I left that day!

And to think, I thought I was doing pretty good with the end of August! Haha.
This was my crazy week:
Tues: 2 hr preschool party Wed: 2 hr birthday Thurs: 1.5 hr preschool grad Thurs: 3 hr 19+ carnival Sat: 2 hr birthday Sat: 2 hr birthday Sun: 3 hr company picnic.
Then we get into July! I actually wouldn't mind a bit of a break - I have books I want to go through, and pots of paint I want to split, that I haven't had a chance to do yet!

Alright Kristal! You're rocking the bookings there.
I'm happy my super busy week is over with the Vacation Bible School and I've got a few days to breathe. Gearing up for my 4th of July weekend... it's going to be a crazy busy couple of days for me.

Yeah, it was a good week! Boggles the mind that I don't have anything booked for Canada Day, though 0_o. Hmph.
Breathing is excellent! Do you have a full weekend booked at the same event for the 4th celebrations?

Just trying to catch up today with all the e-mails to go threw! I was at Ren Faire on Sat and Sun. Hmmm it rained ALL weekend! I did get $400 of painting done on Sat ans only $100 of painting done on Sun. In between the rain drops, thunder and lightening! But worst of all I lost my EZ Up tent during Saturday nights storm! It rained so hard the top started filling up with water, like a giant bowl! It ripped the top of the tent and brought it right down on top of all my supplies that was on the table! all the support bars snapped into and broke! I was just camping there and about 1am I looked over at my tent to see the giant filled water cup of a tent! Ran over there, worked for 9 hours, draining water and trying to get it up for the day. Had to clean all my supplies and dry every thing. The rain never stopped for the day! Packed up at 7pm and headed home for a three hour drive. I was so tired, I went straight to bed! Hubby is going to try to fix the frame, I will try to mend the tent, if not more money out of the pocket for a new one!! Whew, this was a ruff weekend, I still need to go out and unload my car, but I did bring my paints in last night to dry out!

Sorry about your tent, Gina, from what I've read it has served you well. Were the painted panels damaged? I hope not.
I've got a bit of a break now, I also have nothing for Canada Day, I chair our local event and mc the stage so on a I day I should be making a ton of money, I make nothing even when I do my clown act because of my volunteer status. I'd like to carry my paints around and do a few faces but the girl guides do it, they are quite awful but at least I've got them some snaz paints from Michaels and have given them some tips. Maybe I'll fill my pockets with glitter and my little bottle of glue and try some freehand tats. Where do you get your glue? Sherry do you sell it?
Happy Holiday Week, Folks! Danica

Ugh, what a nightmare Gina! I'm impressed with you and your hubby's resourcefulness. The first I thought was that you'd need a new tent and that's probably what I would have done. You've got that self reliant make do thing going on and I'm impressed with all you can do. I don't sell the body glue yet, but hope to soon. I eventually want to be able to offer glitter tattoo supplies, balloons & Mehron. Some vendors I know of that sell the body glue right now are Twinkle Tattoos, Amerikan Body Art, Silly Farm & Chit Chat the Clown.
