Alice in Wonderland Contest - Extended to Midnight April 23th

Hey Everyone,

In celebration of the new movie - take out your brushes and get inspired!

DA RULEZ

1. Your Alice in Wonderland look can be inspired by the Disney version or the new Tim Burton Version.
2. It can be a mask or a full face design.
3. Step by step is required ( this will help us get ready for the millions of Alice painting we will be doing )
4. Only new entries will be accepted - no using a design you posted for a contest elsewhere
5. Please post your Entries here
( if you want to show off something you have done in the past - please post under Show and Tell, I think the gorgeous show-offs in the Rainbow contest really intimidated some people...myself included   )

PRIZES
Sherry has generously offered up two Metallic Diamond FX 32g Paints in your choice of colors.
Now if you have used Diamond FX in the past you know the metallics are AWESOME!
And if you haven't - this is the perfect time to try it out - who doesn't love free stuff??

Ok! I am going to start working on this wonderful challenge this weekend! But when it is said "it must be a step by step" How should that be sommited? Like the picture of the painting, and a detailed summary of how it was painted? or one picture with instructions, and then painted alittle more with instructions? and so fourth until the face painting is completed? Is there a limit of pictures for step by step, like in the snazaroo step by step, the limit is 5 photos to go with the instructions? I want to go by the rules of the step by step contest.

Nice Kirk!  Airbrush work amazes me, because it just looks so good.  I feel like one of my customers who go on in amazement at how good they think I am.

Hey Regina, I dont think it would hurt if you added a description to the step by step, Also I never thought about limits on number of step by step pictures, that would probually be a good idea, I think 5 pics sounds about right.

You can also do a slide show or a video tutorial if you like.

So is the Black and red one the contest entry?? I can't really tell as the step by step part looks to be the Black and red one.

Step #1  Diamond FX White - Paint area for the teeth
Step # 2  Diamond FX Pink - paint area around the teeth
Step # 3  Diamond FX Pink, Diamond FX Bright Pink - paint bright pink for the hair, light pink
              for the ears
Step # 4  Diamond FX Black - Add eyebrows in black, Add whiskers and dots. Outline entire
              design with black, add glitter.

Step # 1 -   Diamond FX Green
                 Diamond FX White
                 Diamond FX Black
                 paint the hat across the fore head, above the eyebrows, add the bow tie, teeth, and the
                 collar of the shirt



Step # 2 - Diamond FX Red
               Paint the hair white. Out line entire design with black, detail the ticket with the numbers,
               paint the tongue red, add the big smile, paint the eyebrows, add glitter!
