Little Piles of Balloons
« on: February 22, 2010, 10:26:58 AM »

Oh my goodness - Where have I been?  I just noticed that I missed you guys!  I have little piles of Balloons all over my house - I hope to show you some photos, but before I get up to that, I wanted to say hi!  I just get so wrapped up in whatever I'm doing - whether it's reading all your posts at the Forum
or reviewing balloons.

Now I'm going to read about what you all have been doing.  Hi!

Hi Alison,  I was just thinking about you and missing you on the board.  I'm glad to see you back!   Grin

I had an event this weekend and they had a beautiful balloon display.  I snapped some photos and thought of our ballooners on the board.  I'll have to share them soon too.  Smiley

Thank you so much Sherry.  I've been so super busy - that's why I'm here at 3:30 a.m. now.  How does this happen?

I wouldn't want to miss any of the fantastic stuff here at the Forum, and don't think I do.  I just checked out those balloons that you posted - sure is a lot of balloons!  I think about that every time I come home from a balloon jam - with so many wonderful creations and nothing to do with them.    I think of all the people who would feel special to have even one of them, and how I just leave them lumped in a pile until I get around to throwing them out.  In the business - we get jaded.

I just came home from an upscale Corporate gig near 42nd Street in Manhattan.  The Creations, the People, the Places - Our lives, what we do as humdrum another job - it's really amazing!

I know, that's what I love about this field.  It's so exciting and creative.  Because of the field we're in, we get to be around similar creative people, like the caricaturists, balloon art people, airbrush, magicians, etc.

As well as the people who hire us.  Celebrities, the super-rich people, the real-down-to-earth humanity.  The kids, the old people, the people our age.  In happy settings.  Or we can make them happy settings.  It's Fantastic
