Craft Tent
« on: June 23, 2010, 09:18:15 AM »

I am making my purchase of a tent setup for events and I could really use some suggestions! What works, what doesn't, tips, tricks, whatever you have!
Also, where did you get yours? I'd love photos of your setup for ideas! I have my first public even in August and I can't wait!!!!

I have an ez up tent, it's over 20 years old, not one pole or rod broken as of yet! I don't think they even make the ez up tent in the medal frame any more.  It is so easy to put up and take down, I can do it alone. But with many years of experience! hahahaha just alote of walking around the tent and doing it alittle at a time!  But check out www.ezup.com  or if you have a local Sams club, they sell the ezup tents also. now they come in a great storage bag on wheels, I have a bag with mine but it is not on wheels, and gets pretty heavy to lift in and out of the old SUV!  Here is a pic of my ren faire set up I just did a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you yes I made all the wall drops! Out of muzlin material. And I am still adding to it!  I am adding three more feet onto the bottom and am painting a flower type garden on the bottom half with garden angels! They look like this, each little garden angel has her own look!  All hand painted by brush! Gets alote of looks at the ren faires!

Here's my festival setup.  I use a Firstup tent from Walmart and it was around $99.  This is its third year of use.  It was hard for me to put up by myself when I first bought it, but I've done so many events with it that I can now easily put it up on my own.  Like Gina said, I walk around it a little here, a little there, etc.

I believe this picture was from an event I did about a year ago.

Here's from an indoor event I did a little over a year ago.  They already had the tables skirted for us.
