Nice, thanks for sharing.  The mica tats look similar on my skin.  I think they're rather pale and washed out, but I feel like this may be because it's on light skin... they might look much better on dark skin.

Do you find the mica tats stay a bit tacky on your skin? I did one on my boyfriend and for some reason it stayed tacky. Let me know. Maybe I'm doing something wrong

Tacky?  No.  But that dragon fly stayed on looking great for like 13 days!  Can't imagine why it'd still be sticky, though, or what could be wrong.  I have used the glue that comes with the Glimmer Body Art kits and another white glue that the reatiler I got it from must buy by the gallon because it came to me in an unmarked white bottle.  Another brand is Pros Aid.

I LOVE Glitter tatts!!!  I have a mall gig all weekend this weekend and while I won't be doing them, I sure will be glittered up so I can sell them later at parties and corp. events.  Love, love, LOVE glitters!!!

Tacky?
Odd - sounds like it didn't get coated properly, only reason you should be able to feel the glue is if it isn't covered with glitter or mica. As it will stay tacky for a long time if not 'sealed' with something...

I've found that mica appeals a lot more to two groups:

1) Slightly older folks who would like some kind of design but consider glitter a little too childish, and . . .

2) Young men who LOVE the flat black, because of its resemblance to ink.

As far as colors, I've found that only a handful of Amerikan Body Art's mica colors are really intense enough for everyone's skin tones. They have a deep purple, a dark rose, a dark blue, and a dark green that are very popular. Conversely, I have had some customers with very dark skin whose tatts looked GREAT with the oranges, pinks, and yellows, and especially the 24k gold.

All of the micas other than black tend to simply show up more with stencils that have large, open areas.
